The conference presents strategies and solutions for banknotes, passports, identity and other government-issued documents – with a particular focus on regional issues across the Asia Pacific region.

Sharing your experiences and case studies makes the conference a valuable experience for all delegates, sparking discussion and passing on best practice for the production, protection and personalisation of state-issued secure documents and credentials, ranging from cash on the one hand to eID cards, passports, visas and other identification and registration documents on the other.

High Security Printing™ EMEA Makes It's African Debut with a Record Audience

This February, HSP EMEA marked its 22nd edition with its largest event yet. For the first time, the conference was on the African continent (Rabat, in Morocco), highlighting the region’s growing economic momentum and role in global technology and development, particular as regards secure printing, identity management, and related technologies.

A record 341 delegates from 146 organisations in 49 countries attended, a 28% increase from last year. A notable rise in central bank and government delegations gave the event a different regional balance compared with previous editions.

Following the success of the inaugural Security Designers Forum in 2024, the event will return for its second edition on 7-9 September 2026 in , .

The first forum tackled issues far beyond physical design, covering a broad range of design-related themes for secure documents, particularly banknotes and passports. The overwhelming attendance highlighted the industry's need for a dedicated platform to share experiences, ideas, and expertise driving collaboration to enhance the aesthetics, functionality, and the protection of secure documents.

The programme is now in development for the 2026 Coin Conference, which will take place in the historic and vibrant city of , , from 28–30 September 2026.

Straddling the River , Budapest is renowned for its rich cultural heritage, striking architecture, and long-standing role as a centre of trade and innovation in Central Europe. With its blend of historic grandeur and modern dynamism, the city provides an inspiring setting for discussion, collaboration, and forward looking debate within the global coin and minting community.

As part of this highly anticipated international gathering, we invite experts, practitioners, researchers, and policymakers to submit proposals to present to an audience of more than 200 senior professionals from across the coin, currency, and minting industry.

Rabat is the place to be right now!

The energy in Morocco's capital is high as the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) reaches fever pitch.

From 9–11 February, Rabat will also play host to HSP EMEA 2026, and the sporting spirit will continue. On Wednesday 11th Feb we'll have our own HSP football match.
