Another wet belt done on a Peugeot 208 after low oil pressure which was caused by the wet belt being severely deteriorated and fibers had gone into the oil which caused low oil pressure.

A customers Peugout 208 in today for wet belt kit replacement, full service & front discs and pads.

Wet belts are ran in a few modern vehicles, where a timing belt is ran in oil which does result in it perishing and cracking sooner than the usual timing belts.

These should be replaced between 40,000 - 80,000 miles or every 6-8 years.
