Ever noticed the red & blue transit caps we use on our tanks? ⠀

I must admit, they really make our products pop in the pictures we share, on here and on the website. The red transit caps especially contrast so well with both the raw aluminium and satin black powder coat finishes of our products. But they have an unseen benefit. ⠀
⠀
While it's no secret that we use high purity argon when welding all of our products, it is not the only gas we use. We fill all of our tanks with geniune locally produced Dry Sump Tank gas, which is 99.9 pure. This way the inside of the tank arrives in perfect condition, ready to use. ⠀
⠀
We also offer the gas in handy 5L containers for home and workshop use, so you can be sure that once the oil tank is installed and the oil is added, you can top up the system with the correct gas. ⠀

I just want to say I'm a big fan of your work...⠀⠀

Don't be caught out with replica parts! Please study the pictures to familiarise yourselves with the various types of Spal fan available in the marketlace.⠀
⠀
In the first slide you will see from left to right; replica, genuine Spal, and genuine Spal Motorsport. To the untrained eye they all look the same. They are (roughly) the same size, shape, and use the same mounting method. But not all fans are created equal, and there are very important differences. ⠀
⠀
All 3x example fans use the same VA11 shell size, which is to say they house a 10 inch fan. ⠀
⠀
The second and third slides show the replica fan, in fairness how tidy the construction is, but importantly how far the nose protrudes from the shell. This is dangerous, as there is a high probability that the nose will puncture the radiator during assembly. Which could mean your radiators' days are numbered, before even being fitted to the car. ⠀
⠀
The fourth and fifth slide show the genuine Spal fan, the high quality construction, and the nose with a 1mm clearance. This is acceptable for a road going vehicle, but frowned upon for Motorsport. ⠀
⠀
Slides six and seven show the Motorsport fans with the same high quality construction, additional sealing, but crucially the ~4mm clearance that is preferred for heavy duty applications such as racing. As far as we know, we are the only suppliers of these fans in the UK enjoying a long established relationship with Spal for almost 30 years. Not all sizes are available, but most of the popular types are usually in stock, in both push and pull varieties. ⠀

If you've ever wondered how the top tanks of our Es**rt radiators are made, this is for you. The top tanks are pressed on our hydraulic brake, utilising the full 35t available. This process takes only a few seconds to produce the raw bucket, which will be trimmed and hand finished later. ⠀

The accordion...⠀

If you are not entirely sure how much oil your vehicle is going to need, you should look at our infinitely adjustable oil tank. Made from the same high quality materials as our regular oil tanks, the addition of a convoluted centre section allows quick and easy adjustments. ⠀
⠀
In its shortest form it holds a small amount of oil(suitable for some cars), in its most extended form it will hold a different amount(suitable for other cars), and is adjustable anywhere in between! The only difficulty we have encountered is that as there are so many capacity choices, it is extremely hard to decide a final height/volume! ⠀

Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters...⠀

The last couple of years has seen a huge increase in the popularity of Historic racing. We see new cars being completed on instagram every day, both those for circuit and hill-climb use. Many of these cars use our parts already, but increasingly we are asked for parts that 'look' like those factory parts used in the 70s, 80s & 90s.⠀
⠀
Our AHF228 is designed as a universal part ideally suited to German vehicles where the coolant header tank is situated near the scuttle panel. It features a regular filler neck ready accept a Stant type cap(not included, ask), a sight glass to easily check coolant level, a Schrader valve for system testing, and a pair of swivel connections to allow seamless installation. The AN4 & AN8 swivel unions are threaded into the tank so can be easily replaced with other sizes. ⠀

The detachable mounting bracket is used to secure the tank to the vehicle. ⠀

PWR produce core water and intercooler cores at their facility in Rugby, UK, and oil cores in Australia, and we can obtain all of them. They are generally a little more expensive than the competition, but the quality is truly astonishing. There are no limits to core sizes and available dimensions, there is literally an infinite number of combinations. ⠀
