The Autumn Social 2026 kicked off on the Saturday with a challenging, but enjoyable, drive over the Blackdown Hills. We stopped at the fascinating Upottery Airfield Nissen Hut Heritage Centre and the Wellington Monument, with a final stop at Rumwell Farm Shop for cakes and a drink.

Sunday we displayed our cars at Hestercombe Gardens, a stunning setting for our vehicles and a marvelous venue - do visit if you can!

What a fantastic turnout for today's scenic drive out!
The rolling hills and sharp bends added the perfect mix of enjoyment and challenge, proving just how capable pre-war Austins truly are. The photograph below shows just a few of the cars that took part today, parked up during our visit to Upottery Airfield Nissen Hut Heritage Centre.

The fun continues tomorrow! Come along and join us for our Main Event at the stunning Hestercombe Gardens. Gates open for display cars from 9:00 AM.

It isn't too long now until our Autumn Social 2026. The event is open to members and non-members, all makes and models.

The drive for the Saturday afternoon (starting 1pm) has been finalised and will include a visit to the Upottery Airfield Nissen Hut Heritage Centre and the Wellington Monument. The route includes a few hills and tight bends - we are a Drivers Club! Details of the run will be emailed to interested parties in due course.

The Austin Ten Drivers Club Spring Social 2026 road run was successfully organized and led by members of the Hereford Austin 7 club, featuring a scenic route through the local countryside.
