A personal favourite Land Rover edition recently came in for some work. This Ex MOD Wolf 90 has received an in-depth inspection, full service including axle and transmission fluids, timing belt including upgraded bottom pulley and new handbrake assembly to make it fit for purpose.

Amongst the full restorations come smaller jobs too. Sliding side windows and rear windows added to a Defender 110 to bring more light into the rear area and give better visibility. This will be coupled with adding 2 more seats into the boot space too.

Who doesn't love a surprise head gasket failure while you're wrapping up the final 10% of a job...!? To add insult to injury, the straight 6 Nissan diesel isn't something the UK has ever had so finding parts proved tricky! Alas the engine will go back together tomorrow. We also trial fitted the alloy wheels today before they go for paint and have the new road tyres fitted.

Discontinued rear light lenses being replaced for new old stock Lucas lenses including original Unipart fixings. Some nice attention to detail on this build replacing more old or broken items.

Deep green arrived back from paint today. Still to be flatted and polished but super happy with the outcome straight out of the gun! Final assembly can happen now ready for handover.

A new binnacle face and back panel supplied by for this 2 door Suffix F Range Rover as the originals found on these cars haven't usually stood the test of time and commonly crack along the joining edges.
