This is not just another classic Corvette.

Our 1961 Chevrolet Corvette C1 Roadster is a genuinely special example of one of America’s most recognisable sports cars.

Finished in elegant Fawn Beige Metallic with a matching interior, it pairs Chevrolet’s 283ci V8 with a manual gearbox and removable hardtop. Add the whitewall tyres, sweeping bodywork and period detailing, and it is difficult not to stop and admire it.

We also know this particular car well, having previously maintained it here at Pilgrim V8, which makes having it back with us even more special.

This 1961 Chevrolet Corvette C1 Roadster is a genuinely special piece of American motoring history, and an incredible opportunity to own one of the most iconic shapes of its era.

This is not your average restoration project.

Felix takes us around this 1935 Plymouth Business Coupe and talks through some of the work he and the team have carried out so far.

The car has been stripped right back, with the body removed from the chassis, rust treatment and welding repairs carried out, suspension and axle components refurbished, and the whole chassis protected before everything started going back together.

Inside, the team has also fitted a new floor, fabricated a replacement battery box from scratch and worked through the front panels with further repairs and protective coatings.

A very different car to the Mustangs we are often associated with, and a great example of the restoration work we can take on here at Pilgrim V8.

Shelby-inspired looks, a rebuilt V8 and an early Mustang Fastback underneath it all. There is a lot to like about this one.

This 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback GT350 Evocation is finished in timeless Oxford White with contrasting black details and was extensively restored and converted to GT350 specification after arriving in the UK.

Under the bonnet sits a rebuilt 289ci V8 with upgraded 302 cylinder heads, Holley carburettor and electronic ignition, paired with a C4 automatic gearbox.

It has also benefited from some very usable upgrades, including power rack-and-pinion steering, power-assisted brakes, upgraded suspension and cooling, giving it the classic Mustang experience with a little more everyday usability.

Josh takes us around the car in today’s video and shows us some of the details that make it such an interesting Fastback.

October’s Car of the Month, and what a way to make an entrance.

This stunning 1961 Chevrolet Corvette C1 Roadster is now available at Pilgrim V8, and opportunities to own examples of this quality do not come around often.

Finished in beautiful Fawn Beige Metallic with a matching Fawn interior, it combines one of the most recognisable shapes in American motoring with Chevrolet’s 283ci V8, a manual gearbox and a removable hardtop.

It is elegant, beautifully preserved and full of the character that makes an early Corvette so special. We also know this particular car well, having previously carried out work on it here at Pilgrim, so it is especially nice to see it return.

A proper piece of 1960s American motoring history and a very worthy Car of the Month.
