August’s Car of the Month.

And this one is a real favourite here at Pilgrim V8.

This beautifully restored 1964½ Ford Mustang Coupe is finished in Pacific Blue Metallic with black interior trim and powered by the desirable 289ci F-Code V8 with automatic transmission.

It has all the character you would want from an early Mustang, but with a few tasteful upgrades that make it a genuinely enjoyable car to use. Eaton power steering, power drum brakes, alloy wheels, a GT rear valance with dual exhausts and a woodrim steering wheel all add to the experience without taking away from what makes these cars so special.

The restoration has been completed to an excellent standard, with exceptional paintwork, replaced glass and brightwork, and a fully retrimmed interior.

Most importantly, it drives beautifully.

It is one of those cars that always gets people talking here at Pilgrim, and we are genuinely surprised it has not been snapped up yet.

Meet Harvey, our new apprentice at Pilgrim V8.

We’re proud to welcome Harvey to the team, and he’s already getting stuck into some great work here in the workshop.

Over the coming months and years, he’ll be learning from an experienced team, building his knowledge and developing the practical skills that go into working on classic and performance cars properly.

We’re looking forward to seeing his progress and having him as part of the team.

We’ll be there from 18–20 September at Stands 265 & 266, with a selection of cars on display and members of the Pilgrim V8 team on hand throughout the weekend.
