Waterways Experiences (WEXP) is an organisation promoting accessible canal boating for everyone. Come and learn how to steer a canal boat and try your hand at working the locks. Fully equipped and skippered boats available for day trips for up to 35 passengers and residential trips. adapted to take wheelchairs. Each summer, we supplement our regular programme of day trips with some very special residential holidays for small numbers of disadvantaged young people. In 2017 we added some weekend trips for young carers – people whose daily lives include a large measure of caring for a sibling or parent. We are a charity completely run by volunteers. We are open for business throughout the year, but please contact us at least four weeks ahead of your proposed trip date.
