It’s a wonderful Wednesday in Mid Sussex! 🎉

Mighty congratulations to Zahra, who today passed her ADI Part 3 and is now officially a fully qualified driving instructor! 🚗👏

All that hard work, determination and resilience has paid off, and today you got the result you thoroughly deserved.

They say teamwork makes the dream work, and there’s certainly been a little of that along the way. Catherine supported you through much of your training, giving you the teaching skills, an understanding of the competencies and what to look for.

I also had the pleasure of working with you for a few sessions as today got closer. Catherine may have brought the teaching skills and understanding of the competencies, but I like to think I added something equally important — the motivational power of a well-timed sticker. 😂⭐

And a special mention has to go to Sara, your pupil, who has been right there with you on this journey and throughout the build-up to today. Thank you for playing such an important part in helping Zahra get across that finishing line. 🙌

Of course, when it mattered, there was only one person sitting in that instructor’s seat. You had to go out there and do it — and you did!

Mighty congratulations, Zahra. Enjoy the moment, celebrate what you’ve achieved and, most importantly, enjoy your new career as a fully qualified ADI.

A big well done to Izzy, who passed her driving test today at Burgess Hill MPTC with just two driving faults. 👏🚗

All that hard work has certainly paid off, and you now have the freedom that comes with having your driving licence. Enjoy it, Izzy — thoroughly deserved.

Of course, a big mention also has to go to your fab driving instructor, Sandra, who has guided you through the whole process.

Sandra has been doing some excellent work as a trainee instructor, and hopefully it won't be too long before we're celebrating her becoming a fully qualified ADI too.

Thank you to everyone who came along to our Standards Check Workshop yesterday morning.

Catherine and I hope you found the session valuable, insightful and worthwhile, with practical ideas and renewed confidence to take into your own Standards Check preparation.

We're incredibly grateful for the kind messages of support and encouragement we've received. Your feedback means a great deal to us.

It's always a privilege to bring dedicated professionals together to share knowledge, support one another and continue raising standards within our industry.

A special thank you to our friends at The Ghyll in Southwater, and especially to Amy, for making the booking of the larger hall so seamless. Having a centrally located venue with ample parking and excellent nearby facilities makes a real difference, and we're very grateful for your support in helping the day run so smoothly.

We're already looking forward to the next workshop and will keep you posted with the details. We hope to see many of you there.

Some achievements deserve to be celebrated.

Congratulations to Zak on passing the ADI Part 3 and becoming a fully qualified Approved Driving Instructor with an outstanding 49 out of 51.

This achievement is a reflection of Zak's hard work, determination, and unwavering commitment throughout his training. He embraced every challenge, remained open to learning, and consistently put in the effort required to reach such a high standard. Results like this are earned, not given.

Credit must also go to Catherine Geall for the guidance, support, and expertise she has given throughout Zak's journey. In my view, Catherine is the best trainer around. Her passion for developing instructors, her uncompromising standards, and the genuine care she invests in every trainee are reflected in the success of those she mentors.

Zak, welcome to the Green Badge Club. Wear that badge with pride. You've earned it, and I have no doubt you'll be a real credit to the profession and to every learner whose life you influence.

Congratulations to both Zak and Catherine on a truly outstanding achievement.
