And that’s it for this year’s drag racing season.
Qualified 4th in Super Comp and 20th in Pro Et.
Got through to the quarter finals in pro et and unfortunately red light by -0.0029 sec
Overall, we finished 7th in the championship in Pro Et
Super comp we made it to the Semi finals to the point where winning the semi-finals race would have made us champions. With the weather playing its part on Sunday it wasn’t till 19.51 that we got to race, at that point all the races had been changed to run 1/8th of a mile instead of the normal ¼ mile. We have never run to the 1/8th in comp and had to guess where we had to lift and unfortunately, we guessed wrong and lost the race by a 0.0130 break out.
So, we ended up finishing second in the Super Comp championship which is a bit, Bittersweet for us but at the same time we are grateful that we even got to race that race and have a chance of winning so a big thanks to all the crew at Santa pod for their effort to get back racing that night.
We are still extremely proud of this result this year, we are still quite new in the sport but now know we can mix it with the best and are looking forward already to next year’s racing.
