May 4th 1970… Michael Brandon Ltd was formed, by the late Michael Brandon. Fast forward to May 4th 2025 and we are officially celebrating 55 years in business.
Still owned by the original family and more commonly known as Brandon Powersports for the past 12 months…
We feel like this is just the beginning for us!

We are currently looking to strengthen our team here at Brandon Powersports.

The Company:
Established in 1970, we are a motorcycle / cycle parts and accessories distributor based in Hawick, Scottish Borders… supplying the trade through various channels (B2B ecommerce site, telesales, email).

The nature of our industry is very seasonal and therefore have busier periods of the year where there is naturally more day to day pressure to respond to enquiries and orders coupled with some quieter spells. With that in mind, our core nucleus of team members is low; we try to ensure permanent employment for all during our quieter months which does result in more pressure at times during our seasonal peak.

The Role:
Office & Light Warehouse Duties
We expect the right person to have a ‘hands on’ and proactive approach. Willing to undertake various tasks throughout the company and remain driven to ensure their day is productive and goals targeted.

Primarily the role will include answering phones, processing orders, telesales, general office admin and lighter warehouse duties as and when required (i.e. setting up orders, checking sales orders and recording goods in).

The Small Print:
Initially looking for the right person on a part time basis.
Trial period of 3 months with the possibility of a permanent position being offered should the trial period prove successful.
Our opening times are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and whilst there is a requirement for certain hours/periods within these times, we may be able to finalise hours with a degree of flexibility to suit the right candidate.
There may also be the opportunity for additional hours on an ad-hoc basis and to cover holiday periods/absences.
