Part of the dynamism of the 4th Gen ND Mazda MX-5 comes from the multi-link rear suspension, which consists of rubber and spherical bushes for precise control over the rear track. Great while it's performing as intended, but wear on the bushes - particularly the spherical bushes that tend to crack and fail - can negatively impact handling. This leads to increased rear-end uncertainty and issues when it's time for the MOT
With replacement bushes for the rear knuckles not available separately and a new OE knuckle costing over £450 plus fitting labour per side, it has created a demand for an aftermarket bush solution.
Research and feedback from our customers, suggested that a higher quality and better-performing product was required, so after months of research, development and testing, we are pleased to introduce a complete set of replacement bushes for the MX-5 ND Rear Suspension Knuckles (RR Kn) and Rear Link Arms:
✅ PFR36-611 RR Kn. to Trailing Arm Bush
✅ PFR36-612 RR Kn. Lower Strut Mount Bush
✅ PFR36-613 RR Kn. to Upper/Lower Link Bush
✅ PFR36-614 RR Kn. to Rear Upper Link Bush
✅ PFR36-615 RR Kn. to Upper Lateral Arm Bush
✅ PFR36-616 Upper Front Lat. Arm Bush
✅ PFR36-617 Trailing Arm to Chassis Bush
✅ PFR36-618 Lateral Rear Arm Bush
✅ PFR36-619 Link Arm Inner Bush
✅ PFR36-620 Toe Link Rod Inner Bush
Made from our stiffest Black 95A material, and supplied with stainless-steel sleeves and zinc-plated steel outer shells where applicable for precise fitment, these replacement bushes are designed to resist deflection but to allow articulation, restoring handling and driver confidence 🖤💪🏻
“Your kit was awesome. I loved the metal outer sleeves that push into the rear knuckles before the bushes go in...the kit was a dream to fit. It hasn't failed and doesn't make the car too rigid on track. The rear knuckle kit is a game changer for every road/race car MX-5 out there”. Brian Chandler BC Cars Motorsport Ltd
These parts also fit the Fiat/Abarth 124 Spider..
