We need your help!

🎄 We know, we know… it’s only October and we’re already mentioning the ‘C’ word! 😬

But this is for a very good reason… 🎁❤️

This year we’re supporting The Community Friend Christmas Toy Appeal, helping make sure local children have something special to open on Christmas morning.

And we’d love your help!

We’re collecting new and excellent-condition pre-loved toys and gifts for children and young people aged 0–18.

📍 Where to donate:
Southern Motor Contracts
B2 Endeavour Business Park
Penner Road, Havant, PO9 1QN

📅 When: Drop donations into our office anytime between now and 25th October.

With lots of early Christmas toy offers already starting, if you spot a bargain while you’re out shopping, why not grab an extra one and help make Christmas a little more special for a local child? 🎁

Every donation, big or small, will make a difference. ❤️

Our Quick Fire Round is back… and this time Katie from our rental team is in the hot seat 🔥

It’s a fun way to get to know the faces behind the business (and see who crumbles under pressure 👀)

Got a question you want us to ask? Drop it in the comments 👇
And tell us… who should be our next victim? 😄

“Do you offer insurance?” 🤔

Short answer… yes, we’ve got you covered. 👇

All of our vehicles come with fully comprehensive insurance as standard, with an excess (usually between £500–£1500 depending on the vehicle and driver).

Want that extra bit of peace of mind?

✔ Reduce your excess with CDW
✔ Cover things like glass, tyres & vandalism with Advance Protection

Or… already sorted? 👍
You’re more than welcome to use your own business motor insurance too.

Simple, flexible, and no overcomplicating things, just how it should be! 😄

New Quick Fire Round just dropped 🔥

Rachael steps up this week… and yes, the intro will make sense if you watched the last one 👀

Who do we throw in the hot seat next?

What started as a bit of Easter fun turned into something really meaningful. 💛

On Thursday, we donated Easter eggs to Stop Domestic Abuse, all thanks to everyone who entered our Easter competition.

For every entry, we donated an egg, so the more people that got involved, the more we were able to give back 👏

A big thank you to everyone who took part and helped support such an important cause.

If you’d like to find out more about the amazing work they do, take a look here: www.stopdomesticabuse.uk

A HUGE thank you to everyone who took part in our easter competition, we loved seeing all your snaps of our egg-covered car! 🐣

Our lucky winner is Hana Summers, who entered via instagram, congratulations! Your chocolate hamper will be on its way to you this afternoon. 🎉🍫

And as promised, for every entry we received, we’ll be donating chocolate eggs to our local women’s refuge this afternoon. 💛

❗COMPETITION NOW CLOSED❗

🍫 WIN THIS EASTER CHOCOLATE HAMPER! 🍫

Want to get your hands on all of this before Easter? 👀

Here’s how to enter:

🐣 Keep an eye out for our electric car driving around Hampshire/West Sussex (you won’t miss it… it’s covered in Easter eggs!)
📸 Snap a photo when you spot it
💬 Drop the photo in the comments below

Simple!

(And no cheating… don’t use our photo 😅)

We’ll pick a winner at random on Thursday 2nd April (morning) and deliver it that afternoon, perfect if you’ve left Easter treats until the last minute! 👀

And the best bit…

For every entry, we’ll donate a chocolate egg to a local women’s refuge. 💛

So the more entries, the more eggs we donate:
5 entries = 5 eggs
100 entries = 100 eggs
…you get the idea!

Good luck everyone, keep your eyes peeled! 👀🚗

Monday blues? Yeah… we’re not having that 😏

We’ve thrown Mark Baumfield, our MD, straight into the hot seat for our first quick-fire round 🔥
Questions = rapid
Answers =… let’s just say, take their time 😂🐌

Over the next few Mondays, we’ll be putting the rest of the Motorent team through it too. Just a bit of fun and a chance to meet the faces behind the scenes.

Who should we grill next? 👀👇
