Now, here is a couple of beauties!
The Gunmetal car is a 3.8, recently restored to a very high standard.

The red Series 2 car has just had a 6 speed auto transmission fitted - the first one that we know of! It has transformed the drivability and made it a really pleasant car to use, which is exactly what the owner was after...!
The interior looks as original.

A couple of years ago, we were instrumental in restoring the Gucci/Lynx eventer - https://www.bonhams.com/auctions/23593/lot/283
which, in itself was an interesting project! However, this is a car that our director personally built whilst at Lynx Cars in 1989!
Working alonside Phil Gould, who designed the original interior with Paulo Gucci, we restored the car to its (unusual) splendour.
The Bonhams script gives all the information for this 'one-off' car!
It will be interesting to see it it gets a mention in the forthcoming film about the Gucci family...

Not the 'prettiest' E Type to come out of the Jaguar works, however, this car drives so well due to the 6 speed automatic transmission upgrade - a real transformation and improvement on the Turbohydramatic 3 speed 'clunker'!

The latest Flat Floor E ype shell to roll out of the works.
It looks stunning in the original specification Opalescent Silver Blue!
The owner will be building this car to a very high standard and will be offered for sale when completed - a 1961 car...
