Ford transit in for knocking from engine

Customer had previously taken vehicle to Ford for a knocking noise in which Ford upsold them 4 new injectors and some diag at £3k then told customer it would need a new engine at £15k 😳 so it was recovered to us to have a recon engine at a lot less tha quoted by Ford.

New engine with warranty ✅
Clutch and flywheel ✅
Water pump ✅
New glow plugs ✅

After covering 500miles we popped out to customer at there place of work to carry out a oil and filter change for warranty purposes on the engine ✅

Ford fiesta in for unable to select reverse gear.

Attended the vehicle as a mobile job at customers house as they were unable to select reverse.
After investigating found gear stick nylon bush had been broken not allowing gearstick to select reverse.. after discussing with the customer it turnt out the car wouldn’t select and gear and had been forced in damaging the selector!.. after repairing selector and road testing 1st gear bearings were noisy so booked in for recon gearbox an clutch at workshop. Upon stripping found gearbox leaking oil and clutch contaminated

Wet belt virginity lost 😂😂

We had this transit in for a service and upon emptying the old oil from drainer ran it through a filter and found loads of belt in there..
So proceeded to remove the sump and found the oil pick up blocked with belt with only 48k miles on it the belt was in a very poor state and wouldn’t have lasted much longer

Wet belt and tensioner replaced ✅
Oil pump belt ✅
Oil pick up ✅
Sump ✅
Timing cover ✅
Oil and filter ✅
Auxiliary belts ✅

Front discs and pads ✅

Gearbox service including x2 oil filters gaskets and oil ✅

When changing the brakes it was only right to clean up and polish the front brake calipers.. 🧼
