Vauxhall Insignia 2.0cdti came to us barely holding on. The driver noticed a slipping clutch, high revs, and a distinct burning smell and for good reason. See from the photos the clutch plate was worn right down to the rivets, leaving absolutely zero friction material left to grip. Because the job was pushed past its limit, the extreme heat severely grooved, heat-spotted, and ruined the flywheel as well.

The Fix: We stripped it all down and replaced the entire assembly with a quality brand-new clutch kit, slave cylinder and dual mass flywheel. The difference in pedal feel and power delivery is night and day.

Jaguar F-pace recovered to us with charging system faults, we found the bottom crank pulley rubber dampener had failed causing the outer ring of the pulley to separate, this causes disruption to the auxiliary belt drive making the alternator unable to charge the battery, we replaced with a new quality crank pulley and auxiliary belt and also replaced the front oil pump chain cover and front crank seal due to damage caused by the failed crank pulley, back on the road with no more charging faults for this customer

Ford Focus Ecoboost in for clutch pedal issues yesterday, leaking internal slave cylinder was the problem. We supplied and fitted a brand new LUK clutch kit and flywheel and also quality new clutch master cylinder as they are common for failing on these cars after slave replacement
