BMW X4M | Stealth Black on Black 🖤

Dan's X4M came to us with two issues: driver's seat heating not working and weak windscreen washers. What we found was a potential fire risk.

Diagnosis revealed the heating element wiring had begun to melt inside the seat base. We removed the leather, replaced the foam padding with a new heating element, and reinstalled the leather for testing. Thermal imaging confirmed the repair was working perfectly. ✅

The windscreen washer issue? A common one on BMW’s. A strip and clean of the washer bottle had it back to normal.

Result: Dan's back to enjoying toasty winter drives in a safe, fully functioning X4M. 🏁

BMW F87 M2 Competition 🏁

Aaron's M2C getting some love in the Zone 🔧 Now it's reached Stage 2 tuning with an equal length mid pipe, we decided together to stray away from the 2-year interval from BMW and shorten the maintenance intervals down. Maintenance is key to good car health 💪

This interim service included:
✅ Brake fluid change
✅ Fresh oil and filter
✅ Full inspection

BMW G30 530d - Telematics Control Unit Fault 🔧

Fault symptom - Emergency call warning on dash, Sat nav showing vehicle location in the sea 🌊

Diagnosis: Telematics control unit (TCU) showing internal fault. Diagnosis path shows no GPS antenna signal being picked up.

These 2 components are the culprits:
• GPS antenna (lives inside the shark fin)
• Telematics control unit

Solution: Component replacement + full I-Level software update to bring the vehicle up to current specification.

Road test completed and sat nav now showing the correct location. Vehicle ready to hand back over to the customer to continue motoring. ✅

Result: Another satisfied customer. Another job done right. 💪

Ollie’s BMW M240i (B58) in for injector replacement to the latest revised part number 🔧

The earlier B58 injectors are known to cause issues on some cars (rough idle, misfires, hesitation) and in worst cases can lead to more serious engine problems.

Ollie reported an uneven idle from cold, so for peace of mind we carried out a preventative injector replacement.

Special tooling used 🧰
✅ Injector removal tool
✅ Injector alignment tool
✅ Injector seal shaper

Simple tools, but a crucial part of the procedure to ensure correct seating and a successful install on the B-series engines.

✅ One-time-use bolts renewed
✅ Torqued to BMW specification

Handed back over to Ollie for assessment over the weekend… and the update we wanted 👍

JK's Porsche 911 Turbo S 🏁🔥

After many phases of tuning with the guys at ES Motors this Turbo S is making over 1100bhp and runs on 4 switchable maps including M**hanol fueling💪

BMW 140i - Second Opinion Saves £3.5k! 🚗💰

Jamie brought his pride and joy to us for a second opinion after a main dealer quoted nearly £3.5k for a new A/C pump. Smart move!

🔍 FIRST COMPLAINT: Revs hunting up and down

Our diagnosis:
✅ System pressure test at 10 bar - held solid, no leaks detected
✅ Leak detection (sniffer) - zero hydrogen escape
✅ A/C pump function test - pressure readings perfect (2 bar low side, 10 bar high side)
✅ Cabin temps dropped to 2°C - healthy pump confirmed!

The issue? The system had lost almost HALF its gas (275g recovered from 540g). A simple re-gas fixed the fluctuating revs and saved Jamie thousands. 💪

💡 Pro tip: Modern cars naturally can lose up to 10% of A/C gas per year due to natural loss- regular re-gassing keeps everything running smooth.

🔧 SECOND COMPLAINT: Tail-happy moment

A little RWD incident resulted in a bent rear suspension arm. We sorted it:
✅ Suspension arm replaced with genuine parts
✅ Full 4-wheel alignment completed
✅ Back on the road and sorted!

During routine maintenance, we spotted a broken rear coil spring—never ideal, but a common issue as these cars age. Our customer made the smart move and chose to have both rear springs replaced while the car was with us, ensuring balanced handling and peace of mind.
