Talbot and Doubleday Commercials Ltd are a busy HGV workshop and are seeking a full time HGV Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will have had experience within a similar role and have the ability to work on their own and within a team.
You will be responsible for the following:
· Carrying out diagnostic repairs

· Vehicle maintenance and PMI inspections

· MOT preparations.

· Complying with time recording procedures and ensure that job cards are completed accurately

· Completing service sheets as per instructions

· Reporting vehicle defects to Workshop manager

· Operate in a tidy and safe manner
Ensure repairs are carried out according to manufacturer’s procedures and in a safe and responsible manner
Good rates of pay for the right candidate
HGV licence an advantage but not essential
