After 37 years, it’s time for Bill to finally hang up his L plates and enjoy a well-earned retirement! 🚗🎉

Over the years, hundreds of kids, mums, dads, aunts, uncles, grans and papas have passed their tests — sometimes on the first try, sometimes after a few more goes — but always with Bill’s unwavering support, belief, and encouragement.

He’s been more than just a driving instructor — he’s been a mentor, a cheerleader, and a calming presence in what can be a nerve-wracking experience.
Thanks to Bill, so many people are out on the roads with confidence (and probably still hearing his voice in their heads reminding them to check their mirrors!).
Enjoy every minute of your next chapter, Bill — you've earned it. Here's to no more early mornings, parallel parks, or emergency stops!

Well after 7 years in the passenger seat teaching people to drive today is my last day! I have had the best students …….mostly 🤣 over this time and loved teaching hundreds of people to drive but it’s now time to go back into engineering!
My dad (Bill) will still be going strong and still teaching people to drive when he is about 100 🥰. Thankyou so much to all my lovely students this week who have given me cards and gifts it’s very much appreciated x

Delighted to have no requirement for masks in car from Monday 18th Apr. Looking forward to seeing lots of smiles 😀.
If however you would like to wear a mask and would like Mhairi or Bill to wear a mask then that’s no problem. No mask requirement for tests and also instructor can be back in car on your test if you wish this.

Following on from FM announcement today of reduced social distancing the DVLA will be able to provide 4500 more theory tests starting from 19th July. These will be available to book from tomorrow 14th July. GET BOOKING 👍🏼👍🏼x
