Lock down update.
DS Autos will be staying open and services will remain as normal. Offering MOTS, servicing and repairs.

Since the 6 month MOT extension finished after the first lockdown, we have been extremely busy, so thank you 🙏

Please note with a increasing number of MOTs due for renewal and no further extensions in place please check your MOT renewal dates in advance and book early to avoid disappointment.

Following government guidelines we have the correct social distancing measures in place. We ask you to please wait at the entrance and we will come to you. Please do not enter the garage.

Today, 29 June, the Department for Transport announced that the 6-month MOT exemption for cars, vans and motorcycles introduced during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, will end on 1 August.

Just a update to let every one know that
DS Autos is now back open for all business,
MOT, SERVICING AND GENERAL REPAIRS.

We are operating with social distancing measures in place.
All cars are sanitized and seat cover fitted before we enter, and wiped down after we have completed the work.

Please do not bring you car to us if you have a cough or any symptoms!!

To all our customers

Following the lasted announcement regarding the COVID-19, it is with regret that DS Autos has closed its doors tonight until further notice.Only opening for key workers and essential repairs, by prior appointment. Please contact me on 01787 827150 or 07825 045748. All calls are now diverted to my mobile.

Please note The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) has published guidance for vehicle owners that says:
* MOTS that expire before 30 March 2020 should still get an MOT
* If your MOT due date expires from 30 March 2020 it will be extended by 6 months

We are sorry for any inconvenience but in the interest of my family and friends i think it is the right thing to do at this time.

Please all stay at home if you can and let's all get through this.
