A sad day today with the passing of the 3rd longest standing member of Newa vehicle refinish. Mouse catcher , work inspector(walked all over any work finished and shiny) and most loving "feral" cat in history. Born down at work 18 ish years ago , spent 5 years fully feral ball of angry fur untill one day decided she wanted cuddles???? Been through 2 floods and one big fire breathed in all the dust and crap we did , fed and loved by everyone in the yard and apart from a little asthma later in life, tret with steroids ,she was fit as a fiddle ♥️unfortunately she was attacked by possibly a fox or small dog and the injuries and other undetected ailments made the very hard decision the only option. She passed quietly in the arms of Gary Ward her main carer .she will be missed by all that met her❤️ many garage men will leave tonight with a heavy heart and a tear in there eye ♥️♥️♥️

Update from Saturday's break in , police have been to us and taken a statement including possible suspects who's names where given to me also all new and old cctv evidence given by police portal csi lot also involved. New evidence on the audio cctv shows they definitely hit the wrong unit as we ARE NOT "the end one" loud bangs are the 2 rams into the gates !!! Any information please pass on to West Yorkshire police quoting the reference number 13260364079 date 27/06/2020 burglary or message myself and I will pass on the information. Well yesterday morning was not the best of starts , some low life scum (4 balaclava heros) in a small boy racer car (polo corsa size ) hard to tell with the poor lighting. Decided to reverse ram the works gates twice untill they opened obviously damaging there car , then 3 of them ran across the yard directly to my unit followed by the car . Broke through my shutters and stole a mini mig welder and a few hand tools/socket set , ratchet spanner set . In all of 3 mins from raming the gates they where gone !!!!
The repairs and strengthening the door including inside ram bar and more "deterants" waiting for the next low life !
It happened at Newa vehicle refinish.hx62ar 1.52 Saturday morning and they left heading towards Sowerby Bridge skips . It was targeted but I think they got the wrong target and/or where miss informed of a high value item . more better quality cctv will be shown when the last lot of cctv cameras pointed directly at the breakin area are looked at tomorrow and a crime reference will be added for any information to be passed on .
We are a long running small business just trying to pay the bills these people need to be caught even if it's just to put them on the police radar. Thank you for reading there is a video from cctv on my personal page Neil Ward, it won't allow my video on this post ? .
