Lack of power and engine management light coming on. Fault codes stored for Mass Air Flow correlation. This beautiful VW camper is very clean but the intercooler has corroded and split so loosing a lot of its turbo boost.
Normally you would remove the front bumper to replace the intercooler but due to the paint job I couldn’t remove the covers to access the bolts so had to do it the hard way, removing the radiator from inside the engine bay to release the intercooler. All done now and codes cleared, with a very happy customer who will be back off on there travels next weekend.

1.0 Ecoboost timing belt replacement.
Using the incorrect grade of oil and not replacing the belt can cause terminal damage to your engine.
A degrading timing belt will block the oil pick up and starve the engine and turbo of oil.
Correct knowledge and tooling is essential for this repair so message me for more details and quotes

Just a little reminder to all that have a power shift transmission, oil and filter needs to be replaced every 3 years or 37.500miles.
I have done a transmission service for a customer this week who had gear change issues but with h some fresh oil it is back to driving smoothly

Always wished your car had parking sensors but not sure if they can be fitted?
They can! X vision reverse sensors can be fitted to most vehicles, are 100 percent Ford approved, fit fully flush and can be colour coded.

Another happy customer came to me worried about his 2014 Focus after his steering failed, ABS and airbag light came. This all sounds like an expensive repair, however, reading the codes found a fault with the a wheel speed sensor. I tested the sensor and wiring and found the sensor to be at fault. Once a new sensor had been fitted and codes cleared the vehicle was back to being in full working order.
