Role: Panel Be**er / Coachbuilder
About us:
We are a small well established family run business carrying out some of the finest concours restorations on prestige and private collector cars in rural East Sussex.
With an extensive workload we are looking to add to our team with enthusiastic and experienced technicians that would ideally be from within the restoration sector so that there is a good understanding of the restoration process and it’s differing demands compared to modern accident repairs.
Requirements:
Basic requirements should be reliable, self motivated, a good team player, honest, trustworthy and hard working to a very high standard.
Minimum of 5 years experience in an automotive body shop environment is essential.
A healthy interest in classic cars though not essential is preferred.
The job roles can encapsulate many aspects of the restoration process so an appetite for a versatile growth in skill set is essential.
Tasks will include:
• Template making and data logging.
• Confident panel forming and making.
• Chassis Jig experience preferred.
• Panel alignment with diligence.
• All types of welding - Mig / Tig / Spot / Gas.
• Metal finishing.

Contract length: Permanent.
Hours: Full or Part time hours negotiable.
Paid Holiday: 20 days plus Bank Holidays.
Salary guide: potential to earn up to £40,000 depending on skill set and experience.
