With this years Goodwood Revival only two weeks away we looked back on a previous visit for the thumbnail.
This year we are delighted to be taking along something special we have been working on for quite some time.
A Series 3 XKE V12 GT Coupe..
We have been working closely with the customer of this car who is a designer by profession so he naturally brought a huge wish list of what he would like to incorporate into the car.
With our skills and his vision we were able to make as much of that happen as was realistically achievable.
This is a real Grand Tourer that is well equipped for today’s roads and with enough style and detail changes to make it truly something special and unique.
A conservative 640hp fuel injected V12 by Hartley Engines & Motorsport is taking this car into super car figures mapped considerably lower than it could deliver but for road use that’s more than enough to be contending with, coupled with a ZF8HP and Quaife L*D along with our own spec Ohlin’s should make the driving experience a real pleasure.
Uprated brakes are a given with 6pots up front and 4 pot rears with Tesla ibooster servo taking care of brake balance.
Aesthetically a wide body rear end to accommodate 9x18 Turrino Wire Wheels
A one piece aluminium S1 bonnet to our specifications by my dear friend James and his team RS PANELS (est. 1964) with 7.5x 18’s up front.
Restyled roof that takes it from a roadster to a proper coupe with modern bonded screens with beautiful lines unlike anything else.
Completely redesigned interior all handmade by ourselves in aluminium and trimmed by Jamie and his team Unrivalled Coachtrimming
There will be some hints at what the car will look like on our stories between now and the event but that’s it for now.
