We are very sad to announce that Dave Fletcher passed away on Friday 24th September at the grand age of 99. He will be greatly missed by Ian and all the family. We are sure he will be remembered fondly by customers and colleagues who knew him.
The garage will be closed from 12pm on Friday 15th October for the funeral.

Just a quick update to let you all know that we will be staying open during this second lock down period. MOT's continue to be a legal requirement this time round and we are here for any servicing and repairs needed too with all the current social distancing precautions in place.

* We are re-opening on the 1st June *

From Tuesday 26 May we are taking bookings for June onwards.

We are available to undertake any work from MOT’s to servicing and repairs.

We have measures in place for yours and our safety. Please adhere to any signage and verbal instructions.

When dropping of your car we ask kindly if your could turn any heater/air con/climate control off.

We have decided to temporarily close the garage. This has been a difficult but necessary decision to make.

This is in order to protect the public and ourselves from the spread of the virus.

The answer machine will be checked by Ian regularly during the week.

Update from Hermitage Garage. Here are a few bullet points of where we’re at. We will continue to try keep you road legal until government advises us otherwise. Wishing all our customers good health in these difficult times.

* we are open from 8.30am - 2pm

* we are only offering MOT’s, MOT repairs and emergency repairs.

* we are taking card payments only

* we are unable to offer collection & delivery

* we are asking customers not to enter the office. Outdoor seating is provided and only if raining to use the office.

* please do not book in your vehicle if in self isolation or are showing symptoms of COVID 19

* when dropping your vehicle off we kindly ask if you could turn heater fan/AC/climate control off.
