ROAD SAFETY COMPLAINTS -HADDINGTON

At a recent meeting of Haddington Community and Police Partnership (CAPP) concerns were raised about drivers speeding and failing to comply with the stop sign on Sidegate at its junction with Hardgate/High Street.

The concerns centre around near misses with both pedestrians and vehicles. Local officers will be out in the coming weeks monitoring the area and drivers who fail to comply may be issued a fixed penalty ticket.
