How is it still on the road??

Check out how a corrosion treatment and refresh of the underside protection have given this stunning Swede! These side by side before/after comparisons really help to show the difference!

Evolution Dry Ice has the privilege of tidying up the underside of this lovely old classic Volvo. The owner uses the vehicle sparingly and it’s kept garaged but they are concerned about areas of corrosion that are appearing underneath.

The original factory underbody coating is still in great shape in the majority of areas so the intention is to clean up the deteriorated areas, treat the corrosion & reaseal everything with several layers of Dinitrol’s 4941 underbody wax for lasting protection.

As you can see the fresh layers of underseal have greatly improved the appearance of the underbody & along with the corrosion treatment that has been carried out provide the owner with lasting protection to enjoy this lovely old bus for years to come without worrying about it deteriorating.

The 1982 Volvo 245 DL is the definition of old-school Scandinavian cool — boxy, dependable, and built like a tank. With its iconic straight-line styling, cavernous practicality, and legendary red-block reliability, the 245 DL became a cult classic for families, road-trippers, and enthusiasts alike.
