1961 Daimler SP250 Dart Sports Car

This gorgeous car is totally original and has been in the care of just 2 private owners in its 61 years.

It has covered only 38,000 miles from new and retains its paint, leather and carpets from the day it left the factory in 1961.

The car runs and drives superb, recently having a thorough mechanical recommissioning by Paul Brown Classic Jaguar, including: hoses, lines, leads, gaskets, spark plugs, points, condenser, transmission and engine oils, brake fluid, brakes, fuel pump, clutch slave & master cylinder and suspension etc etc.

Bodywork is in very good condition with no signs of damage or previous repairs. The paintwork is showing its ago and is worn and discoloured. Chrome work is all in very good condition.

Interior. The seats are in good condition but the leather is showing it’s age. In my opinion far to nice to re-trim
Again carpets are original but age worn. Still retains all original features including the spring steering wheel with centre indicator switch. Very comfortable nice cabin

Chassis is in excellent condition.

Complete with, hood, hood cover and often missing tonneau cover.

The car comes with a superb impeccable history. Bill of sale, handbook plus letters from the first owner including correspondence between him and Daimler works concerning undergoing an engine overhaul and replacement rear axle at circa 18,000 miles during August 1964.

A very rare opportunity to purchase such an original B Spec Daimler Dart.

1969 NSU 1200 TT £14999

This great looking and unusual car is in lovely condition. The car is one of only eight known to the DVLA so is a very rare sight on UK roads.

These little NSU TT models came out aimed at the Mini Cooper S and Fiat Abarth market.

Our car was one of NSU's press cars and was featured in several press releases and road tested including one with Autocar magazine.

This car has been owned by a knowledgeable enthusiast who has maintained and kept the car in superb condition.

Bodywork is in excellent condition.

Interior is in superb condition, seats were re-upholstered in the correct material.

Mechanically the car runs and drives great. Engine was rebuilt. Front suspension has been rebuilt with Spax adjustable dampers and poly bushes.

It comes with a huge amount of history. This includes a large file of invoices showing all the work carried out over the last few years, magazines including the Autocar magazine showing the car in period. Plus a large box of spare parts etc

A really lovely unusual car.

Purchased by the previous owner in 1991 and used as a daily use car up until 2001 when it was stored until approx 2009.

In 2010 the car was restored fully into a fast road / racing spec by Ben Marshall classic vehicles in Somerset. In total including parts it was £14,500 restoration costs.

The car has done 3 track days at Castle Combe in the last 10 years other then this it has covered very few miles since the restoration.

This was a complete chassis up rebuild

Engine.
Ported & polished cylinder head
Chambers reworked to oversize inlet and exhaust valves
Updated springs
Skimmed to give 10:1 compression with the pistons used
Competition head gasket and new studs / fixings
Bored +0.20”
Crank reground with all new bearings and new heavy duty oil pump
Lightened flywheel
Full balanced rods, crank and flywheel
Con rods fitted with Cosworth bolts
TH5 camshaft with new followers, timing chain and sprockets

Oil cooler
Uprated rocker shaft oil feed

Running Castrol R racing oil

Battery cut off and additional gauges for oil / voltage

Lightweight alloy wheels with TOYO racing tyres

GT6 front uprights and brakes (provides larger brake discs and also larger front wheel bearings)

Bodywork
The car is fitted with a lightweight fibre glass bonnet and boot lid. The fiber glass bonnet is an ok fit not perfect shut lines. Fitted for racing to reduce weight on the front.

All original bumpers and chrome restored

Interior heating left in place and fully working as well as original dash board with all the normal gauges & features

The car is in superb condition. Large history file including many photographs of the restoration.

Complete chassis up rebuild

A quick exciting road car, great fun track day hillclimbing car or could be Very easily converted into race car

This attractive looking car is really something quite special. Owned by a retired engineer who has made this his retirement project.

The bodywork has had a full bare metal restoration to a very high standard, panel fit is excellent. Lovely straight sides and finished to a very high standard. Complete with matching hardtop roof.

Mechanically the car is superb, engine has recently been rebuilt. This includes performance cam shaft, up rated oil pump, genuine NOS crankshaft etc etc

A pleasure to drive.

Interior is in excellent condition, dashboard has been removed and restored back to its original crackle finish. Moto-Lita steering wheel. Again all work has been completed to a very high standard. Period Radiomobile radio, rebuilt and fitted with iPod lead.

Under the hardtop it has a fitted roll bar, soft top roof complete with frame and all fittings. Hood cover.

Stainless steel exhaust system.

Gorgeous chrome knock on wire wheels

Large history file detailing all the work carried out. Plus pictures of the body restoration. British Motor Heritage Certificate.

This really is a superb car. The body restoration alone would have cost more then the asking price.
