Qualified as a driving instructor in Norfolk, UK in 1981, and since then have helped thousands of people obtain their full licences, not just for Cars but for Motorcycles, Heavy Goods and to achieve 'Advanced Driver' standard. Driving is 'A Skill for Life' therefore my aim is not just to teach you to pass your driving & theory test but to make you a safe, confident and responsible driver, on all t

ypes of road, in all conditions. Roll's School of Motoring maintains an excellent first time pass rate with over 31 years experience. Theory & driver training given in full one hour lessons or you can opt for 1/2 day or full day intensive courses. I am pass plus registered allowing me to train you to obtain your Pass Plus certificate. This involves training on motorways, dual carriage ways, town centers & rural roads, night driving and all weather types. Obtaining Pass Plus gives you an experience and understanding under tuition that is normally a steep learning curve done on your own on the road.

Goodbye all!
Well after 42 years as a Driving Instructor I have decided to hang up the "L"plates. It is time to retire and start new adventures.
I would like to thank all my students who chose Roll's School of Motoring and put their faith in me to teach them to drive and I hope the experience was not too nerve racking.
I qualified in 1981 as a young naive 21 year old thinking this would be just a temporary job...little did I know!
Good luck and thanks to all my fellow Driving Instructors out there and to all the Driving Examiners, both old and new.
I am posting lots of photos of some of my old students. I hope you don't mind. There are more to follow.
Well it's been a hell of a ride (in more ways than one) but it's time for me to drive off into the sunset
