Today I replaced both rear window regulators on a Audi S3 after the rear windows stopped working completely🚗🔧

After removing the door cards, I found the internal regulator mechanisms had failed — a common issue caused by worn cables and pulleys inside the unit. ⚙️🔩

🔧 Audi A5 2.7 V6 TDI – Lower Crank Pulley Replacement 🔧

I recently attended an Audi A5 that had lost all power and battery light on the dash this was caused by a failing lower crankshaft pulley.🧰

After carrying out my inspection, I found that the rubber bonding in the crank pulley had perished over time. This rubber is designed to absorb engine vibrations, but as it deteriorates it can separate and cause noise, vibration, and auxiliary belt issues.🧐

I replaced the lower crankshaft pulley and the vehicle is now running smoothly with no abnormal vibration or noise and is ready to get back on the road. ✅

⚠️ Some common signs of a failing crank pulley include:
• Unusual knocking or rattling noises from the engine
• Visible wobble from the crank pulley while the engine is running
• Auxiliary belt misalignment or belt noise
• Vibrations coming from the engine bay

Today i attended a vehicle that required front brake pads to be replaced due to excessive wear. After carrying out an inspection of the braking system, I confirmed the front brakes had reached the end of their service life and required replacement.🏥

The worn components were removed and new front brake pads were fitted, ensuring the braking system could operate safely and efficiently again. Once installed, I carried out final checks and testing to make sure everything was functioning correctly and the vehicle was safe to return to the road. 🛠️

⚠️ Signs your brakes may need attention:

• Squealing or grinding noises when braking
• Vibration through the steering wheel or brake pedal
• Longer stopping distances than normal
• Brake warning light appearing on the dashboard
