🚗 Mercedes-Benz CLA 180 in for its MOT! 🔧

Another vehicle safely through its MOT, with a pass and just a few advisories! ✅

During the inspection, we found that the rear brake pads were getting low, with approximately 0.5mm of legal friction material remaining.

After discussing the findings with the customer, authorisation was given to replace the rear brake pads, ensuring everything is taken care of. 👨‍🔧

🔧 Volkswagen Polo in for advised repairs! 🚗

This Polo came into the workshop for a few repairs following its previous MOT, getting it ready to go through its next MOT. ✅

This lovely example of the iconic Mercedes-Benz SL500 R129 in with us this morning for the fitting of two rear tyres.🛞

The tyres were supplied by the customer, brought to us for to be fitted with the usual care and attention to detail.

Always a pleasure to have a well-kept classic like this one in the workshop. 👌

2015 Mercedes E220 BlueTEC SE – OM651.924 🔧

Oil cooler replacement done. 👍

The car had previously been diagnosed by someone else after finding oil in the expansion tank, with the oil cooler suspected as the cause.

Not the easiest job on the OM651, with quite a bit to remove just to gain access to the cooler. Once everything was out of the way, the old cooler and seals were replaced and everything put back together.

Cooling system cleaned out, checked for leaks and run up to temperature.

All looking good so far. Another job ticked off! 🔧👍

Mercedes C250 W205 – Service & Brake Work

The vehicle was booked in for its annual service, along with a visual health check.

🔧 Oil & filter changed
🔧 Air filter changed
📋 Service light reset

The customer also requested the brake discs and pads to be replaced all round following the “Check Brake Pad Wear” warning displayed on the dashboard.

During our inspection, the rear brake pads and discs were found to be very heavily worn and close to metal-to-metal contact, so these were replaced for safety and to prevent further damage.

The front brake pads were found to only be approximately 5% worn, and the front discs were inspected and found to be in good condition. As they did not require replacement at this time, the front brakes were left in place.

The vehicle has therefore had the necessary rear brake work carried out, while the front brakes remain serviceable.

😬 Not much pad left on this BMW 3 Series!

This one came in needing brakes all round — discs, pads and wear sensors.

The pads had been allowed to go completely metal-to-metal with the discs, so it was definitely time for a replacement! 🔧

🔧 New pad wear sensors fitted
✅ Braking system checked over
🚙 Ready to hit the road safely again
