The school run is back! 🎒🚗

👋 Meet the Team: Solomon Hull

We’re kicking off our brand-new Meet the Team series by introducing Solomon, one of our Service Advisors here at Taylors!

Solomon has been part of the Taylors team for 2½ years, helping customers keep their vehicles looked after and on the road. While he leaves the hands-on work to our technicians, he particularly enjoys dealing with Jaguar Land Rover vehicles.

Have you noticed a DPF warning light on your dashboard? Many drivers aren't sure what it means but it's not one to ignore.

The Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) helps reduce harmful emissions by trapping soot from your engine. If the warning light comes on, it usually means the filter is becoming blocked.

In many cases, taking the vehicle for a sustained drive at higher speeds can allow the DPF to regenerate and clear itself. However, if the light stays on or is accompanied by a warning message, it's time to have it checked.

Ignoring a DPF warning can lead to reduced engine performance, increased fuel consumption and, in some cases, costly repairs.
