Great Blakenham Cycle Speedway Great Blakenham Cycle Speedway Club race in the South East League with teams representing the club. Division 1 & Division 2.

Training every Tuesday evening from 6pm for young riders & 7.30pm for senior riders. We hold training sessions on Tuesday evening from 1st March at 6pm for Juniors and new members, the Senior riders train from 7.30pm. New members are always welcome to come and try, we can provide bikes but ask that you bring along cycle helmet if you have one & gloves.

The East of England team win the Battle of Britain against the Midlands and North teams in Edinburgh! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ†

Luca and Noah Woodhouse were the Blakenham riders representing the east, helping to secure the win. Another massive congratulations to them for what has been a very successful few weeks for both of them ๐Ÿ’š

Some great results for our riders down in Southampton, including Luca Woodhouse, who won the Brian Makepeace Trophy, along with Craig Marchant and Noah Woodhouse both coming runners-up in the Nathan Harris Memorial Trophy events in their respective categories. Lewis Brinkhoff also took 3rd ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ’ช

Lewis finished 3rd after some hard-fought racing that saw him finish the day on 12 points along with 4 other riders, including another one of our own, Noah Woodhouse. ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ’ช

Lewis went on to win the 5 rider run off, where he then finished 3rd in the final. Noah was unlucky to miss out in the run-off, as well as Luca Woodhouse finishing on a solid 10 points after his win in the Junior event yesterday. ๐Ÿฅ‰

We returned to the South East League today as we welcomed Norwich for the South East League Two and South East Development leagues matches.

A win and a loss today, but another great experience and performance by our younger riders, as well as Stumpz, Terry and Lee stepping in to help them too.
