New cars DO need detailing.. here’s why.

Unfortunately dealership’s are not detailers, and when they are selling tons of cars each month, they don’t have the time, nor is it cost effective for them to be detailing each car properly.

This means their prep work can be rushed to get cars out, leading to swirls and damaged paint like you see in this video, even when the car is BRAND NEW.

Brand new also doesn’t mean the car has never been touched, it may have sat on the forecourt for a few weeks, or even months if it’s a demo car. To keep the car clean and presentable, they may just run some water and a quick brush over the car to remove any dust… again leading to damaged paint.

Hopefully now you can see why we offer a New Car Detail Package, so if you have one on order, please don’t trust dealerships to do a detailers job. Do it the right way.

Called RIP for a reason.

I see some “professional valeters” not even doing the basics when it comes to a SAFE wash.

A safe wash includes wheels too you know. Going straight onto a contact wash with wheels that are dirty will do the same damage as it does to your paintwork. Especially on gloss black wheels like this M3 has, doing this will scratch them up and leave them looking dull and damaged, which will obviously let the look of the car down.

This is the whole point of our job, and why customers use us, they don’t want their car damaged, so stop doing it. A strong prewash to strip the majority of the dirt off, then we can go in with our contact wash, make sure to be using soft brushes on gloss black wheels especially.

It’s been a busy couple of weeks, I’m ashamed of the state these was in 😔

Good opportunity however to show the power of toxic, new Acid wheel cleaner, a proper real acid, unlike the weak rubbish everyone else is claiming is “acid”.

Go hard on them pillars.

Your gloss black pillars are only a small area of your car, however when restored will make a huge difference.

These pillars and other plastic parts of the car are very sensitive areas, meaning it only takes a few visits from them nasty car washes and these parts will start to look worn and damaged.

Luckily for you we can help to bring these back to their former glory and keep them looking actually GLOSS BLACK.
