New Discovery Tempest | Satin PPF Correction

Not every defect requires a replacement. Sometimes, experience makes all the difference.

This new Discovery Tempest arrived with what appeared to be a defect in the factory satin PPF. On closer inspection, we discovered it was actually adhesive residue affecting the finish.

With satin and matte finishes, correction requires a very different approach. Abrasive polishing is out of the question, as it can introduce gloss and permanently alter the intended appearance.

We were called in to Kentdale Land Rover to see what could be done. Using a carefully selected combination of products and techniques, we worked to restore a uniform finish and successfully remove the visible defects.

Of course, replacing the affected film was an option, but it wasn’t necessary in this case.

Sometimes, the best solution isn’t replacing what’s damaged — it’s knowing how to correct it.

That’s where experience, product knowledge and attention to detail really count.

Nothing like old school. 🔴

This Honda S2000 came to us following a full restoration, including a complete respray in its iconic New Formula Red.

With fresh paintwork like this, protecting it from day one only made sense.

After carefully refining the paintwork, we applied Gtechniq ceramic coatings to enhance and protect the finish.

The front end, including the rear arches, was then protected with PPF, providing an added layer of protection against stone chips and everyday road damage.

A proper classic, finished off with the protection it deserves.

A little different this time…

This Porsche Macan GTS arrived in plain white, but we had something special planned.

We’ve applied a metallic-fleck PPF that completely transforms the appearance of the car — creating a stunning new colour while still providing the protection PPF is known for.
