JOB VACANCY

We have a role for an alloy wheel refurbishment technician available to join our family business.

Job description:

* Refurbishing alloy wheels to a high standard, including repairing, painting, and finishing.
* Assessing damage and determining the best repair methods.
* Using specialized equipment such as lathes, spray booths, and powder coating machines.
* Ensuring quality control throughout the refurbishment process.
* Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
* Removing and fitting tyres
* Communicating with customers to explain repair processes and timeline

Key Responsibilities:

* Inspecting wheels for damage and wear.
* Preparing wheels for refurbishment by cleaning and sanding.
* Applying primers, paints, and finishes.
* Balancing wheels after refurbishment.
* Documenting work and maintaining records of repairs.

Skills and Qualifications:

* Experience in alloy wheel refurbishment or a similar field is preferable but not essential
* Knowledge of different types of wheel finishes and repair techniques.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good communication skills.

Working Conditions:

* Full-time position.
* Workshop environment with exposure to dust, fumes, and noise.
* Use of protective equipment such as masks and gloves.
