Hot off the press…

The DVSA has today announced changes to how learners can swap their driving tests.

“From 1 October, the process for how learner drivers can swap their driving test is changing.

The change will remove the need for learners to coordinate their availability and will make the process smoother and less stressful.”

Learners will no longer need coordinate their availability to call the DVSA. From 1 October, one learner calls the DVSA to initiate the swap and then the other learner needs to call on the same working day to complete the swap.

While these changes should make swapping tests slightly easier it is unlikely they will have any impact on the current test waiting times.
