☀️🚗 A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS TO ROBBIE FOR PASSING HIS DRIVING TEST TODAY 🥇 🚗☀️

A brilliant result this sunny morning at East Kilbride Driving Test Centre 🥳👏

This has been a great journey to watch. Robbie always had the ability, it was just about slowing things down, trusting himself and not treating every situation like a Formula 1 qualifying lap 😂🏎️

Lesson by lesson the confidence grew and everything started clicking into place 👌

A massive well done Robbie, thoroughly deserved mate 👏🚘

And an even bigger shoutout to Dad for constantly taking him out practising 🚗😂 The amount of times that poor passenger seat has probably heard “I KNOW” and “I SAW IT” deserves some kind of bravery award 🏅🤣

Enjoy the freedom Robbie, stay safe and remember… no more relying on lifts from everyone else.

🎉 HUGE congratulations to Ruairidh for passing his driving test this morning at East Kilbride Driving Test Centre 🚗💨

From overthinking roundabouts to now officially being unleashed onto the roads alone, he absolutely smashed it today 👏😄

Ruairidh worked really hard for this pass and kept pushing himself every lesson. He could be tough on himself at times, but that determination paid off this morning with a fantastic result.

Now begins the expensive part… insurance quotes, petrol prices and becoming everyone’s personal taxi driver 😂

A HUGE thank you as well to Mum gail.anderson.129 and Dad for endlessly taking him out practising. Countless hours sacrificed sitting in car parks, surviving dodgy hill starts and pretending not to panic at roundabouts 😅 It honestly makes such a massive difference.

Good luck with Engineering at university Ruairidh, I’m sure you’ll smash that too 👨‍🔧📚 And enjoy your holiday. 😎☀️

🎉 Massive congratulations this morning goes to lila_samuelsxx for passing her driving test 🥇 at the East Kilbride Driving Test Centre 🚗💨

From nervous first lessons to confidently driving herself to freedom, she has worked so hard for this and fully deserved the result today.

I’m genuinely going to miss our lessons. Not many pupils can survive me repeating “mirrors” 400 times and still turn up smiling every week. 😄

A massive thank you as well to Grandpa for taking her out so much between lessons. The extra practice really made a huge difference and it definitely showed today. Team effort all round 👏

More changes coming in from March, with another update being added in June as well 🙃

Honestly, it doesn’t make the job any easier for instructors and it definitely adds even more pressure onto pupils trying to get booked in, stay organised and actually secure a test date in the first place 😭

What used to be a fairly straightforward process now feels like trying to get Glastonbury tickets every Monday at 6am while fighting off bots, queues and disappearing test slots 😂

Unfortunately, these are the new DVSA rules and everyone will just have to work around them as best as possible. I’ll still help guide pupils with availability, timing and preparation, but the booking, changing and swapping side is now very much in the learner’s hands.

At this rate, passing the theory might end up being the easy part 🚗💨

🚨 DRIVING TEST BOOKING CHANGES FROM 12TH MAY 🚨

From the 12th of May, the way driving tests are booked and managed is changing.

Learners will now be responsible for booking their own driving tests directly through the DVSA system. This change is being introduced to reduce bot activity and ensure bookings are made fairly and only by the candidate themselves.

Once ready, learners will need to log in online and book using their own details, making sure all contact information such as email and mobile number is correct and up to date.

📅 Test availability
Tests are typically released every Monday at 6am. Learners will need to log in at that time and join the queue to try and secure a slot. Availability is not guaranteed and some weeks may have no dates at all, so persistence is required.

🔄 Cancellations & swaps
If a test is no longer suitable, learners must contact the DVSA directly to cancel or rearrange.

Swapping with another learner is also possible, but both parties must agree, exchange booking reference numbers, and have up to date contact details so the DVSA can confirm the swap.

You really did not have to, but it is massively appreciated. I was taught to be polite, so of course I accepted it straight away 😂

Always nice to know the lessons, nerves and emergency mirror checks paid off in the end 😅

The examiner is still recovering from the emotional rollercoaster of witnessing pure driving excellence 😂👏 honestly I think they are considering a career change after that performance 😅

From learner nerves to absolute road boss in no time at all 💪🔥 who needs mirrors anyway when you have vibes like that 😜 only joking… kind of 👀😂

And a huge well done to Mum jennifersluman for putting in the hours constantly out practising 🚗💪 you deserve a medal for bravery and patience 😂🏆

Seriously though you did amazing and fully deserve it 🙌🚘 now the roads are officially a more entertaining place 😎

She is not just a car she is a lesson-making machine packed with gadgets toys and style to make every drive enjoyable 😎 My current pupils are already loving her and honestly I don’t blame them. Smooth ride comfy seats and a few extra surprises make learning to drive feel a little less scary and a lot more fun 🎓💨

T-Roc is here to help my pupils pass their tests with confidence and make dreams come true one lesson at a time. So buckle up future drivers because with her on the team we are going places 💛

As we get closer to 26th April, it’s really starting to feel real now. The miles are adding up, the training continues, and we’re all coming together as a team for something that means so much.

Louise shared her story recently and it’s the reason behind everything we’re doing. We’re taking on the Kiltwalk as Lou’s Crew, united to support her and to give something back to The Beatson, who have been there for her through everything.

On the day, we’ll be taking on the full 23 miles from Glasgow to Balloch. Setting off in the city, we’ll follow the route out along the River Clyde and then onto the canal paths, passing through towns and quieter stretches before reaching the beautiful surroundings of Loch Lomond. It’s a long, tough walk, but also an incredible route, and every single step is for Louise and for everyone supported by this amazing charity.

We’ve now raised over £11,000 which is amazing, and we honestly can’t thank everyone enough for the support so far. It truly means everything 💛
