Do you have a co-op card? Did you know you could support a local cause? Baby & Toddlers Lennoxtown have been awarded this year's coop fund!

With your local co-op card you can scelect this local Lennoxtown group within your online account, you can selected them them by logging in and choosing a cause and the funding stays within the village and help local group within Lennoxtown to provide better learning, toys and amenities for the children.

Baby & toddlers Lennoxtown meet in St Machans Chapel hall every Friday at 9:30 till 11:30 during term time for preschool aged children to run off some steam, grab some toast, fruit and biscuits and parents can have a chat and even grab a warm cuppa.

So if you've not been before you can always head round this Friday it's £1 per person and the group will be more than happy to welcome you.

Last night the main street was accessible from the bottom end of the town up to the coop carpark which gave access to our site for vehicle to use our outdoor facilities as normal however due to a safety incident with one of the workers vehicle that was left unattended on our site we have to make an quick response from us to arrive back on site in order to get the vehicle remove from site.

Due to this incident for the safety of both our site and the community, even if the main street is accessible for vehicles up to our site, our site will be closed overnight to all traffic until the roadworks have been completed. You'll still be able to walk up and collect/post parcels from our lockers.

Our facilities are open as normal during the day until we close at night.

We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause and we will be back up and running as soon as possible.

WE ARE STILL OPEN FOR BUSINESS

We have been really busy the past 3 weeks, especially over the weekend there until this morning when we have been hit with another set of traffic lights on the forecourt.

We know it's only for a week so we encourage customers to still stop in when you need your top up as we have noticed it's been a bit slow this morning already and it's only half past 9.

We are giving away 1 free Lennox S.S. Air freshener when you spend £25 or more instore today including fuel.

The works are off to a good start tonight and the work team from John McGeady Limited were working hard with their machine when we were there to scrape the old tar up with Luddon Construction Limited team tidying the rest of the road ready for the resurfacing work.

It's going to be an inconvenience for everyone but it's probably the best decision to do it at night rather than during the day.

There is still access to the coop from the top end of the town on a two way traffic lights system but no through traffic beyond this.

I'm presuming this will be the case when they come to the opposite side too from the coop down to the town hall which means we could be open until our normal time during the week but for now we will still to 6:30pm closing until we know more.

Please continue to use the local shops and takeaways that are still open at night even if it means you need to walk slightly to get to them.

There will be 6 way traffic lights from tomorrow during the day which we will be included in these again to allow the workers to repair bits of the road before resurfacing.

Please don't give the workers or traffic management teams any hassle, they are all doing a great job so far. Yes it's an inconvenience for everyone but it will all be worth it in the end. This is the final stage after 11 months of carnage.

The signs further a field say that Lennoxtown main is closed. Only during 7pm and 6am overnight. The main street will be open to traffic during the day so please continue to come and support us during the next week if you can.

📢CUSTOMER NOTICE – EARLY CLOSING THIS WEEK 📢

Just a wee reminder to all our customers that we’ll be closing at 6:30pm every night this week to allow us to get our own vehicles off-site before the road closes at 7pm.

🚧 Road Closure – Lennoxtown Main Street

Lennoxtown Main Street will be closed between Service Street and Slatefield from Monday (today) until Saturday, between 7pm and 6am each night. Diversions will be in place, so please allow extra time for your journeys.

🚁 On a more positive note, our private helicopter has just landed for refuelling and will be available to transport locals from one end of the roadworks to the other! 🤣🤣🤣 ....Jokes aside we don't own a helicopter 🚁

Our recovery service will remain fully operational throughout the road closures as we are always on hand to assist you when you need us most. However, please be aware that response times may be longer than usual due to diversions and access restrictions. We’ll do our very best to get to you as quickly and safely as possible and get you back to safety. ❤️

Have you been wondering why we’ve been so busy this morning? 😉 We have a little suspicion it might have something to do with our fuel prices!

That’s right! We’ve lowered our fuel prices again this morning as we’ve reached the next quantity of fuel at the lower price. And, as always, we’ve passed those savings straight on to you! ⛽️🙌

Unfortunately, our latest delivery earlier this week came in at a slightly higher price again. So, once we reach the end of this current quantity for unleaded only, we’ll need to make a small increase. Diesel and super unleaded should hopefully remain the same as prices haven't changed on these yet.

We always do our very best to pass on any price reductions as soon as we can, and equally, we only increase our prices when we reach the next quantity at the new cost. We believe that’s the fairest way to do things! ❤️
