We are looking for a fully qualified, experienced Mechanic and/or MOT Tester to join our friendly team at our independent workshop & MOT testing station of over 30 years.

Candidate will be expected to carry out MOT tests (if applicable), servicing and a variety of repairs on all makes & models of vehicles to a high standard.

· Hours of work are Mon - Thur 8am-5pm and Fri 8am-4:30pm (possible overtime on Saturdays).
· Rate of pay to be confirmed & negotiated with individual depending on experience.

From 2nd April 2024 for 14 months, Thornliebank Road will be closed for vehicles at Thornliebank Train Station but WE ARE STILL OPEN AS USUAL. Please access Thornliebank Road via Burnfield Road or from the Pollokshaws/Auldhouse direction. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Thornliebank road bridge will be replaced as the next phase of work begins to electrify the railway corridor between East Kilbride and Glasgow.

Due to the MOT extensions in 2020, DVSA are urging drivers to get their MOT tests early to relieve pressure on garages as MOT's are due to surge again from August.

This will also allow drivers to book in on their preferred date at their convenience & ensure their car is safe to drive after lack of use during lockdown.
