A huge thank you to Prestige Fabrications for their support of UGRacing this season.

Prestige Fabrications kindly assisted us with the laser cutting of several critical components, including the copper bus bars for our accumulator and the suspension rockers for our vehicle. Their precision manufacturing expertise and willingness to support student engineering have played an important role in helping us progress the car towards competition.

Thank you to Hirose Electric Europe B.V. for their support this season!

Hirose Electric Europe’s high voltage disconnect and connectors are essential in making sure our car operates safely. Their HVD ensures if anything goes wrong, the high voltage system can be safely and quickly isolated from the rest of the vehicle allowing the driver to exit the vehicle unharmed.

They have also generously provided us with a range of low voltage connectors for use around the rest of the car, connecting our temperature sensing to our BMS, and our low voltage electronics to our loom.

Hirose Electric Europe are an important part of our electrical system and we appreciate their help and support!

A big thank you to one of our newest sponsors, Cardan Precision Engineering.

Last year, Cardan Precision Engineering supported us by machining several parts at short notice when we were in a difficult position. This year, they have continued that support by producing our suspension bearing housings, along with all of our rod inserts.

Thanks to Cardan Precision Engineering, these parts will allow us to get our chassis rolling as soon as possible.
