Dear Valued Customer,

As 2025 draws to a close (and the mince pies mysteriously keep disappearing), we’d like to take a moment to say a huge thank you for your continued support and custom throughout the year. We genuinely couldn’t do what we do without you.

We’d also like to let you know that Reliance CMS Ltd will be closed from Christmas Eve through to Monday 5th January 2026. During this time, our team will be recharging their batteries, eating their own bodyweight in festive food, and attempting to remember what “relaxing” feels like — all in preparation for hitting the ground running in the New Year.

Normal service will resume after the break, with a refreshed team, renewed energy, and only mild withdrawal symptoms from Christmas chocolate.

Reliance Caravan & Motorhome Services, are looking for an experienced, skilled, and qualified Workshop Mechanical Service Technician to join the team based in Chichester, West Sussex. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return you will receive a competitive salary of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum.

Reliance is a multi award winning, one stop centre encompassing all aspects of motorhome and caravan servicing and repairs. In addition, we supply and fit a vast range of accessories from industry leading suppliers and manufacturers. Reliance are fully accredited members of the National Caravan Council (NCC) Approved Workshop Scheme which is the benchmark for motorhome and caravan servicing standards in the UK.

About the role:

The Workshop Mechanical Service Technician role will encompass all aspects of base vehicle and engine servicing on a wide range of vehicles, regular timed and mileage based maintenance, diagnostics and repair. This will regularly include but is not limited to cambelt and water pump changes, injector removal and repair, coolant changes, brake replacement, brake fluid changes, clutch replacement, and air con repairs etc. The right candidate will also be in the unique position to learn and qualify for additional skills in relation to the habitation side of motorhome maintenance so a multi skilled background or a genuine willingness to learn and adapt will be a distinct advantage.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm – we are closed during weekends and Bank Holidays.

What we’re looking for in our Workshop Mechanical Service Technician:

Hold a valid driving license
Well organised and tidy
Physically fit to perform out a wide variety of tasks
Ability to pay meticulous attention to detail and quality of workmanship
Relevant industry qualifications relating to the service and repair of motor vehicles
Accrued at least three years recent experience in this sector
