checking your tyres is an important part of our pre ride ritual, and one we may forget from time to time but not only does it allow us to spot any damage but it also allows us to see the overall condition of our only contact with the road and - even if it’s not time for freshies for yourself, remind ya mate to check their tyres too because it’s good practice for us all…

It's been a busy couple of days here at mono motorcycles.
Yesterday we welcomed a MV Brutale for a new rear tyre and then Oaklie got to grips with preparing an AJP PR7 sales bike with an X-Trig and rear luggage rack.
We also welcomed a Triumph Speed 400 and a Triumph Tiger 900 GT both for annual servicing.
In the afternoon Oaklie fitted some new radiator guards on an Aprilia RSV.
Today Oaklie spent the better part of the day replacing the rear rocker gasket and fork seals on a KTM 1290 Super Adventure and this afternoon he fitted a new set of Dunlop Roadsmart IV's to a Honda CB500.

Oaklie undertook this Royal Enfield Continental GT 650s first service this week

while performing the bikes first service, he also checked the spark plugs too and gave the bike a fresh batch of oil and fitted a shiny new filter. Oaklie also fitted a centre stand to the bike for the owner allowing the owner a bit more freedom when parking up

Pick 'n' Mix at mono motorcycles.
It has certainly been a varied couple of days here at mono motorcycles.
We have welcomed three Royal Enfields through our doors in the last 24 hours.
An RE Interceptor for fault diagnostics, service and a new rear tyre, a RE Continental GT for an interim service and fitting a new centre stand and another RE Interceptor for a full service and MOT.
We have also welcomed an Aprilia Tuono V4 Factory an interim service and chain adjustment.
We also welcomed a Triumph Rocket III to get it running and put it through an MOT. As the bike had been left outside since last October most of the fluid in the tank was water! This has now been drained, a new fuel filter added and the system flushed as much as possible.
We also welcomed a Vespa Primavera 125 for an annual service and another Vespa for recommission as this has been standing and not used for a year.
We also welcomed a Honda Forza 300 to assess why the rear wheel was so wobbly. It appears that the carrier in the rear wheel may have been stripped out during another repair elsewhere and this now needs replacing.
We also thought we would show you the row of bikes outside today all awaiting collection. When we say we are tight on space, we do mean it!

What a fantastic ride out with great friends.
Today we met up with Andy, Glen and Shaun for a lovely jaunt through the West Sussex countryside landing at Billy's On The Road for a delicious brunch.
We were all on a real mixed bag of bikes - a CCM, Yamaha, Aprilia, QJ Motor and a BMW.
Once we were suitable stuffed, we took a leisurely ride back towards home with a pitstop for a tea break at The Crate Cafe & Bar in Bosham.
Fabulous day!
