Daniel Morris, Proprietor & Owner of mono motorcycles, specialises in motorcycle wiring & bespoke electrical systems for motorcycles, as well as offering Service/repair, Modifications, Diagnostics, Detailing, Wiring & vehicle security options for all makes, all CC's & all models of motorcycles. With over 25 years experience in the motor trade, Daniel has previously run a successful detailing company & more recently was employed as a technical adviser for Europe's leading breakdown organisation the AA. mono motorcycles began as a mobile motorcycle service/repair & security service in April 2017 & the mono motorcycles workshop, which is located in Funtington near Chichester, has been established since February 2018. And, weather permitting, we’ll even be firing her up around 10:30/10:45am 🔥

Job Title: Part-time Administrator – Motorcycle Industry

We are looking for a punctual, organised, confident and enthusiastic Part-time Administrator to join our busy motorcycle business.

This is a varied, hands-on role that requires someone who can remain calm under pressure, manage competing priorities and provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

A genuine interest in motorcycles is essential. Candidates must have some prior knowledge or understanding of motorcycles, ride a motorcycle or have an interest in the motorcycle industry.

Experience working within the motor trade would be an advantage, although we are equally interested in finding someone with the right attitude, aptitude and willingness to learn.

Our workplace is also home to two large dogs, so candidates must be comfortable working around dogs.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has a friendly and professional manner, and is keen to become a valued member of our team.

An intensely busy thursday here at mono motorcycles.
The Ducati 916 and Confederate Wraith recommission are moving on a pace.
After the first fire on the Wraith on Tuesday, Daniel has now fitted a set of new shoes – Dunlop Sportsmart Mk4’s.
Now the Confederate Wraith is running, we have noted that the rear indicators are not UK legal. For one they are far too close together and for two, they flash red. Must be a yellow flash for UK MOT.
We have offered our customer the option of the Kellermann Atto indicators as they are very discreet but super bright.
The Ducati 916 has now had its newly rebuilt rear shock fitted and Daniel has also stripped the front forks out and replaced the fork seals, bushes and oil.
The front tyre has been replaced and we are just awaiting the rear tyre to arrive.
While Daniel immersed himself with the Wraith and 916, Okalie carried out a Major Service on a Triumph Street Triple R.
During the MOT it was noted that the exhaust was far too loud, the headlight was skewed and the headstock bearings were notchy.
Once we contacted our customer he authorised the initial MOT repairs alongside the Major Service. New exhaust silencers have been ordered.

this weeks workshop Wednesday is a highlight reel of Oaklie and Jack undertaking an ACF50 valet on an Africa Twin at mono motorcycles today and this service is available to book NOW until end of February 2027.

This particular service and treatment featured in this video includes
* degrease
* wash
* snow foam
* dry
* ACF50
* metal work
* polish

Please allow 2 hours or more for the services depicted in the video (depending on the condition of your bike)
we also offer a further full detail service which includes the treatments listed above plus -
* clay bar paint and plastics

A busy 24 hours here at the mono motorcycles workshop.
Yesterday we welcomed a Ducati Monster for cambelts and an MOT, swiftly followed by an Aprilia SR GT 125 for an annual service. This morning whilst Daniel was working on the Confederate Wraith and Ducati 916, Oaklie has been busy on the other side of the workshop with a Triumph Scrambler 900 for a pannier fitting and then a Honda Africa Twin.
The Africa Twin joined us today for an annual service, rear brake pads and a Winter ACF50 valet - more info on that later this evening. Watch this space!
