Update 10.07am - power is now back on🥳

The Marston Trading Estate is currently experiencing a power cut which is affecting multiple businesses including our parts suppliers and other garages😬.

Power is expected to be restored by 12.30pm. We currently have one phone which still works, so please be patient with us! 🙏🏼

We are still able to fit tyres, but if your vehicle is booked in for any other repairs today, please expect delays.

Until power is restored, we will only be able to take payments via cash or bank transfer.

☀️Weather Update☀️

Due to the extreme heat, we have made the decision to close the garage early tomorrow and Thursday. If you have a booking on either of these days, you will have been contacted and advised of our temporary hours.

We will be open 6am-2pm. Outside of these times, please use our website www.treadsvehicleservices.co.uk, or message us on social media.

To keep our staff safe and allow for additional breaks, we have also made the decision that unless you have a pre-booked appointment, we will not be taking on any additional work during this time; this includes mobile tyre fitting and vehicles being recovered in.

Please do not arrive at the garage without a booking as you will be turned away. Unfortunately, we have had several customers who have become abusive towards staff due to this, and we will not tolerate this under any circumstances.

We hope to return to normal working hours on Friday, and will be able to accommodate mobile tyre fitting and those without pre-booked appointments once normal working hours are resumed.

We did it. Together, we’ve saved WHY. 💜

Today marks a moment we will remember forever. Thanks to every runner, donor, volunteer, supporter, ambassador, partner and friend who stood with us when it mattered most - WHY’s future is safe.

Your belief, your generosity and your determination have kept support in place for children, young people and adults facing life threatening conditions. We are so deeply grateful.

Over the next few days we’ll be sharing a longer message to celebrate what you’ve made possible - and to honour every single act of kindness that got us here.
