Audi A4 TDI quickly assessed and repaired for an intermittent engine warning light. New EGR cooler and valve fitted. Replaced as one unit, the old cooler unit was split to confirm the fault of a blocked EGR cooler.

And another Audi that identifies as a road sweeper 😲

We see Air Filters on all Audi models blocked and restricted very regularly. This is where the manufacturers service schedules are clearly wrong. The service/replacement interval is 60k miles 🤔, ridiculous.

Luckily we are well aware and check on every inspection service we carry out, the manufacturer/dealer doesn't.

A 2014 Polo presented with very rough running, engine warning light and traction control light on.

Unfortunately the engine was running out of time due to worn timing chain and guides. The photos show the tensioner for the chain extended beyond its maximum range with the chain almost touching and how far out the timing of the camshaft is in relation to the crankshaft.

Full timing chain repair kit fitted and full service, job done 👍

Typically we can provide Stage One, Economy, Gearbox remaps and custom software solutions. We specialise in VW, Audi group vehicles but this service is available to most makes and models.

We have been extremely busy over the last few months, and are almost fully booked until the New Year.

The workshop will be closed from 22nd December and reopen 3rd January. If you need to contact us or want to make an appointment over the Christmas period then please use our online booking system (on our website), email or WhatsApp us. However we won't be monitoring phones/voicemail.

2014 Polo in with us recently to have a noisy front wheel bearing replaced. These particular wheel bearings need to be fitted with the correct tools to ensure correct fitment, otherwise the bearings can fail prematurely or don't lock correctly into position. The correct tools also allow the job to be done with less dismantling 👍
