🎉Camera shy Samuel passed his test in Clacton today with only 2 driving faults! 🎉

Samuel has had a long journey to get here, but now he can start living life and go and get those jobs that not having that full licence, has been holding him back from.

Safe driving Samuel. I’ll give you a wave if I see you in your little yellow car 🚕 (it was either a Taxi or a Tractor emoji 🤷🏻‍♀️😂).

Well done to Lewis for passing his test first time today in a sunny Colchester 🎉

Lewis very nearly got that perfect drive, incurring only one teeny weeny driving fault! 🎉

Lewis had a lot riding on this pass. He had his new work van ready and waiting for him, sign written and ready to go, so it was a huge relief for him 🚙

Safe driving Lewis and good luck with the Painting & Decorating business 🎨🫟

Huge congratulations to Finley who had a first time pass today in Clacton 🎉 🚘

Finley had a great drive, passing with only 2 driving faults 💥

Finley did a 40 hour semi intensive course around his work hours and got his test booked the week after his course finished - perfect timing!

Well done Finley, no more biking to work 🚴🏻‍♂️❌

Huge congratulations to Breeze. She kept control of her heart rate (well sort of, if you class 150bpm as in control 😬) and passed her test in Clacton this morning with 6 driving faults.

Well done Breeze. Now you can take your little one out wherever and whenever you want. No more relying on lifts or buses, and good luck with the job hunting 🙂🚘 🎉

Massive congratulation’s to Roxi on her first time pass in Clacton today. I shall miss the non stop talking 😂. Don’t rub it into your Sister’s face too much 😂

Drive safely and no doubt I’ll see you around 🚘

Curious about what happens during a driving test? Here's what to expect on test day.

An eyesight check 👀
You'll read a number plate from 20 metres away or 20.5 metres if it's an old-style plate.

'Show me, tell me' vehicle safety questions 💭
You'll answer 2 questions about vehicle safety. The 'tell me' question comes before you start driving and the 'show me' question while you're on the move.

General driving ability ✅
You'll drive on a variety of roads, but not on motorways, including 20 to 35 minutes of independent driving, following either a sat nav, traffic signs, or both.

Reversing your vehicle 🚗
You'll be asked to do one of the following: parallel park, park in a bay, or pull up on the right and reverse 2 car lengths. Your examiner will let you know which one.

Knowing what's coming can make test day feel a lot less daunting.

Yesss Rebecca! She smashed her first driving test this morning in Clacton, with only 2 driving faults (and one of them she just got for the sheer hell of it - adjusted her parking when she didn’t actually need to 🙄).

Rebecca started out with me on an intensive course, but after a few days, we realised it wasn’t for her and she was losing concentration halfway through the lesson, so we went more semi intensive which also fit in around her work.

Rebecca took on advice when needed and we moved her test back a couple of times to ensure she was 100% ready and went down to weekly lessons to keep the momentum going. This resulted in today’s first time pass 🎉

I won’t say that I’ll miss the random things that you did, you certainly kept me on my toes! 🙈 but I shall miss the outfits and nail art 🥰

Good luck with getting your first car, I look forward to seeing you on the road 🚘

Huge congratulations to Morgan on passing her test today in Colchester. Morgan was really nervous, but held it together to complete a “really lovely drive” (Examiners words) with only 2 driving faults! 🎉🚘

It was a pleasure to teach you. Good luck with your job search. I’m sure you’ll be snapped up soon 🙂

Congratulations to Bailey for overcoming his nerves and passing his test in Colchester this morning with only 3 minor driving faults 🎉

Bailey must be my furthest travelling pupil, as he travelled all the way from Ibiza! 🏖️☀️

Safe travels home, and remember to drive on the right from now on! 🚘
