**CLOSURE ANNOUNCEMENT**

With little lady soon arriving, we think this is the right time to say our goodbye!
Family is so important and I have missed out so much due to the hours I work and I'm not getting younger 😆
I started tyre fitting at the Age of 15 and have absolutely loved every minute of it, I have met some amazing people along the way and some even more amazing people whilst working on the Island! Your support has been truly humbling 🥰
The passing of my old man really hit me hard as I never had time... never properly got to say goodbye I always put work first 🥲 So now I think it's the perfect time to make this change and begin new adventures!
Following in the old man's footsteps I'm now currently in the process of renewing my CPC to go and drive a lorry again 🥰

May I take this chance to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. You have been the best!!

Kai had an absolute blast at his very first festival!

He came and helped me cover some jobs over the weekend and was Kindly treated to a free ride on the Giant wheel...he also got a bubble gum sundae for checking the tyre pressures on an ice cream van 🍦 and had a show around the medical tent after fixing an Ambulance tyre.
Think it's safe to say, they loved the job he provided and it looks like we've both been provisionally booked in for next year 🥰

Unfortunately when the Isle of Wight Police pull you over, my friends brothers, cousins sisters dog said the tyres were ok this morning won't get you of 😲
You... the driver will receive penalty points and a fine!

Current tread depth legislation requires that truck tyres must have a minimum of 1mm of tread in a continuous band throughout the central three-quarters of the tread width and over the whole circumference of the tyre. The same regulation applies to regrooved tyres.************** The driver of the vehicle is responsible for making sure his/her tyres are legal and in a roadworthy condition.******************************************The penalty for driving with an illegal tyre is a fine of up to £2,500 and three penalty points per tyre. When driving in wet weather, the tread pattern of the tyre helps to evacuate surface water from the road. As the tread begins to wear down, the tyre gradually loses the ability to evacuate all the water from the road surface, which increases stopping distances in the wet. The lower the tread depth, the greater the risk of aquaplaning.
