So Thursday we did a lorry breakdown for one of our race car transporters, got them sorted and back on the road so they could go racing at Croft.
We followed them up Thursday evening, stopping on the way overnight, arrive at track Friday morning and straight on the spanner’s, checking the cars all tight in the right places on set up, still learning about the car on some of thUK Legend 57rs and set up. I’m in my first full year with the team but getting there.
Saturday we had a gearbox issue so we changed the engine (gearbox is part of the engine and motorcycle powered) So after a totally awesome long weekend with our UK Legend 57 race family and a 5 hour drive home last night, getting in at 02.00, alarm goes off 6.20, that’s hard but well worth it. Would like to thank the team as always for looking after us, keeping us fed and watered and plenty of laughs. Also how lovely it was to meet Trevor and his family, who made the trip over from the USA to race in a uk legend, he did an amazing job on uk soil and made it look so easy as he’s got such talent.
