What a week 😮‍💨 we had this lovely E89 Z4 20i in for a new clutch kit ✅

Have to say, clutches on manual BMW’s are a firm favourite to do 💪🏼

Whilst here, the customer opted for some new brake pads ✅

But then also opting for a tune…

Standard, these left the factory around 184bhp 270nm

Onto the dyno, we set about bedding the clutch in the carried out initial dyno runs…

Making pretty much bang on power at 184bhp

The 20i and 28i use the same hardware so theres huge gains to be unlocked from just software

After tuning, this made 293bhp 394nm 🤩

Gains of 109bhp just from software 😮‍💨 what a transformation in how it drives! Super smooth but a mega kick in the back now ✅

This Audi Q5 came in for diagnostics after a transmission warning…

Code stored C05DC Clutch A Temp too high ❌

The customer opted for a trans fluid change as the first port of call

When removing the old oil, it appeared to be low in fluid 👎🏻

Filling to the correct amount, the customer will monitor for a week or so and see if any issues return

This particular fault can be cooling related (fluid or trans cooler) or the more expensive clutch slip 👎🏻

The owner of this S3 reached out to us…

The car had been in another garage to get the injectors replaced but 3 were stuck in the head 👎🏻

We couldn’t see why it would be a problem so we agreed to take a look…

Inlet off, indeed 3 were stuck. Audi recommends an injector puller for this scenario, so we invested in the VAG specific puller and it worked a treat ✅

All built back up and working as normal again

As a tech, theres jobs we love and jobs we hate, but i absolutely love doing injectors on this platform for some strange reason 😅
