2022 BMW X3 in with us at Native ⚙️

This one’s come in showing an emissions warning light, with diagnostics pointing towards a suspected diesel particulate matter sensor fault.

It’s a good example of how modern diesel systems rely heavily on accurate emissions monitoring — and when one sensor isn’t reading correctly, it can quickly trigger warning lights and performance issues.

Ben runs through the symptoms, what we’ve found so far, and the next steps to get this X3 back to running as it should.

If you’re seeing emissions warnings or DPF-related faults, don’t ignore them — get them checked early before they turn into bigger repairs.
