Had an accident, Not Your Fault ?

The owner of this Q5 had just that, run into the rear by another driver cracking the rear bumper and lights.

Instead of contacting her own insurance she contacted us straight away. We put the full claim directly through our accident team who deal directly with the person at faults insurance.

Had this Landrover Freelander in for some welding and underbody treatment work.

New outer sills we made and fitted painted, and some other required welding work done.

Raised up on our outdoor ramp / wash bay and fully high pressure hot power washed underneath to get in every nut and cranny. We then baked fully dry in our spray oven before cleaning off the full underbody with rotary wire wheels and needle scrapers, ready for rust treatment. Once all treated and cleaned we masked up and applied dinitrol followed by black wax oil. Then for extra protection we injected cavity wax into the chassis rails, inner and outer sills, doors, wings and quarter panels.

Was a fairly time consuming job start to finish but its had the best treatment possible to give it an extra lease of life exactly what the customer asked for.

We repaired this Seat Ibiza crumpled rear quarter panel and bumper back to how it should look. It took a bit of carbon reinforced and body filler work, but saved a massive cost for the owner needing to replace the rear quarter panel.

Is your vehicle AIR CONDITIONING not blowing cold?

With the Hot weather here, have you noticed your vehicle’s air conditioning is blowing warm air or just doesn’t seem as cold as it once was?

It could mean the refrigerant level is either getting low or is empty, It could also indicate a leak in the system which will need to be identified before re-gassing.

What exactly is Air Con Re-gassing…

Air conditioning re-gassing, or recharging, is a relatively simple process. It is simply removing old refrigerant gas and replacing with new correct amount and type of refrigerant. If your air conditioning isn’t blowing cold air this is the first point of call.

There may be other reasons especially if your systems gas is completely empty and not just low, this would indicate more likely a leak in the system from lack of servicing which would need to be investigated with pressure testing and UV Dye. During the process, our technicians will check for any leaks at the time of re-gassing your system.

How long does it take…

An air conditioning re-gas will take on average 45 minutes. This includes air conditioning system checks and the removal, and refilling of refrigerant gas and oil.

How long does air conditioning gas last…

There are a few factors that will influence how long your air conditioning gas will last. Most manufacturers will advise getting your air conditioning serviced every 2 years as systems will naturally lose gas without you even using it.. Of course, there is also the potential issue of leaks which can drain the system over time.
