🚗 Tyre Safety: The 20p Tread Check

Did you know a simple 20p coin could help you spot whether your tyres are legal?

Insert a 20p coin into the main tread grooves around your tyre:
✔️ If the outer band of the coin is hidden, your tread is likely above the legal limit.
⚠️ If you can see the outer band, it's time to have your tyres checked.

Remember, the legal minimum tread depth is 1.6mm, but we recommend replacing tyres before they get that low to maintain the best grip, especially in wet weather.
